At the time of their registration, all runners were entered in a raffle. At the end of the race the Passaic Valley Rotary Club held a drawing and gave race participants various prizes and gift certificates from local businesses.

Financial and product donations from local business made the River Run possible. However, it was countless volunteers from local community businesses and schools who helped make the event run so smoothly. Suburban Physical Therapy Center's employees helped with the kid's fun run, parking regulation and registration. Some of the center's employees participated in the race as well. Two full time Suburban employees were a major part of the Rotary's planning committee for the race.

A special thanks to all the Rotary members who worked many hours to coordinate and organize the event. Over eight thousand dollars was raised for the Passaic Valley Rotary Club. This money will be put towards the club's community programs. Next year, rotary members hope to increase the promotion of he race in order to attract more runners.
